Hockey took me away from Duluth. A double hip surgery brought me home. Now I’m staying — with a real estate license in hand.
I grew up in Duluth, played hockey at Duluth East and Duluth Marshall, then played juniors in Colorado, Saskatchewan, and back in Minnesota until my body told me it was done. Along the way I was honored to receive the 2023 Hobey Baker Character Award for my senior high school season — a recognition rooted in the values I try to bring to every relationship: show up, work hard, and do right by the people around you. When I came home, I bought my first house at 20. Real estate has been in my blood since I was a kid — my family’s rentals raised me almost as much as my parents did. I spent years walking properties, helping manage units, and learning what actually makes a building work as an investment.
Today I’m officially a licensed Minnesota Realtor with Real Estate Services of Duluth, working alongside Karen and the RES team. I’m also pursuing a finance degree with an entrepreneurship minor on a pre-med track — an unconventional combination, but one that’s taught me how to think critically, work under pressure, and bring real analytical depth to every deal. Cap rates, cash flow, ARV, comps — I want my clients to understand the numbers as well as I do.
